There are a lot of cribs out there that end up in the dumpster due to changing safety regulations and the fact that many thrift stores won't accept them for liability reasons. If you happen to come across one that is no longer fit for its intended use, pause a second before passing it by. With a few tools and an appreciation for the unusual, that old crib can find a new life in an unexpected way.
Kelly from Eclectically Vintage certainly has an eye for the unusual. When she found an old crib at an estate sale, she somehow knew that it would one day make the perfect memo board. But first, it made a cameo on her fireplace mantel as part of her Christmas decor.
She somehow manages to make it look at home, wherever it may be. Nicely done, Kelly!
