If you're sick of your office furniture, there's really only two things you can do; paint it, or get rid of it.Well, that's what we thought until yesterday, when we spotted this awesome Ikea desk transformation. To get that lusciously textured and awesomely pixelized finish all you need is a shower curtain!

Sick of her worn-down Lack console-table-turned-desk, Ikea hacker Maija from Finland found inspiration for a new table finish from the unlikeliest of places—her shower curtain.

Using nothing more than contact glue, she transformed her decrepit desk into something that looks luxe by covering every inch of the tabletop and legs with a pixel-patterned shower curtain.

Over at Ikea Hacker, she disappointingly doesn't give too many details on the process or the materials (which has left us here to guess if the curtain had any transparency to it). But it seems like a simple project that can revamp your old office furniture with a thousand different looks, depending on the curtain you choose.
