That is an exceptionally pleasing color palette
I like the other elements, but I can't keep my eyes off that floor.
I honestly am not getting the whole 'stack of books' thing. I know it takes less floor space, but it doesn't seem practical.
That floor...just...wow. Love. Love love love love love. (Yeah, the other bits are great, too. But that floor!)
i love that floor too, I remember this post from two years ago, right?
Lovely place. However, I tried the the 'stack of books' thing and always found myself wanting to read one from the bottom.

Sorry for the multiple posts - had browser issues I think.
Wheee, yes, LOVE the floors. Woooooooo!!!!
PSIMON: I know what you mean; lived that experience myself :) ... but in this case, it looks to me as though the books may be on one of those racks that has a number of "hidden" shelves. Gives the impression of one stack of books, but they're actually fairly easy to get to (at most, each book would be at the bottom of a stack of, say, five books, rather than 50.
I keep seeing that stacker model in one of the big 3 catalogs I always get in the mail (Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, West Elm), but don't recall now which (West Elm?) ...
MELISSAM, Yes looking more closely at the picture I see you are right.
The picture, credenza & floor are great. The books; clutter. They all can't be 'most loved' and enough with a pile of books being a creative accessory.
I like the way the art works with the floor -- made for each other!
Love the color used on the walls!
What paint is it?
Hi everybody, photo is from my condo, thanks for the nice comments . Paint is Benjamin Moore Aura, Tranquil Blue.
