Taryn just posted about VHS covers being turned into notebooks, but there's also a more hi-tech option: hard drive covers, with your favourite movies of the pre-DVD era. A fun DIY inspiration for a weekend project using a spare drive and normally garage sales items.
The DIY merchants over at Centennial Merchant are installing Samsung 32OGB, 500GB and 640GB 2.5" hard drives inside covers of beloved classics such as Goonies, Ghost Busters, Star Trek and Star Wars. They can also customize the cover according to preference and prices range from $104.99 to $154.99, so you can finally have that Corey-fest, Dream a Little Dream drive you've always wished for.

This is a great idea! I feel bad getting rid of VHS tapes, but there's not much I can do with many of them now.
