In a small room, when you’ve already sacrificed square footage, you don’t want to make any more compromises. Thumbing through the most recent Pottery Barn Catalogue, we stopped on this sofette, an ideal option for the space-challenged longing for a couch.
Only 51” long, we like its bright orange print, with shades of North Africa, and its armless design, a trick that lets the eye sweep over the piece and gives it a larger feeling. Pair it with white lacquer to bring out its latent Hollywood Regency; with bright pinks and rich browns to bring out its bohemian side; or, if you're bold, with other prints and patterns, to play up its exotic heritage. As we’re seeing from the awesome entries in the Small Cool Contest, small does not have to mean sticking with a neutral palette either in furniture or in décor.

Ok. This is really lovely for a bed room. Or even in a small living room.
Sofette? The proper word is either settee or banquette ... Sofette sounds like a new toilet tissue ...
I want.
I totally missed this in my pottery barn catalogue and I want it as well.
I saw this in person over the weekend and was tempted to buy it on the spot. So pretty.
I really like this.
I want too. I've been eyeing it for weeks in the catalogue. Not in the budget right now though. :(
