Name: Katie (mom) & Olivia (daughter)
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
We had a narrow skinny wasted space between our garage and our neighbors. Before Olivia was born we used it to put grass clippings and junk there, but I wanted to transform it into a play space when she was old enough.
Using many items we already had and a few purchases we turned this space into an outdoor playroom! It includes a pool, a deck, a sandbox, pegboard for tools, clothesline, mirror, and of course toys! Some items we already had and some we purchased from Ace, Garden Ridge, and Walmart.
Fabulous - thanks Katie!

Commercial Flour Sa...
I would have loved a place like this when I was a kid. It's a cute handmade play area, which (despite what people want to do nowadays) is supposed to look somewhat haphazard.
I assume you spoke to your neighbors first, though, before stringing stuff up on the side of their garage (or home).
Seeing the Before, I couldn't imagine what you'd do with it. You've created a fun, happy and safe play space from nothing.
That is a job well done. Congratulations.
Cute! Love the curtains.
Wow! You did a killer job. She must love it!
Adorable! I have a similar space that I've been wondering what to do with. My two year old would love a 'room' like this. Great job@
I love this! What a cheerful space for a kiddo. I'm in awe.
NICELY DONE! Not only making use of a challenging space, but also managing to get the kidstuff out of the yard. I would normally say there's no way to make plastic kid furniture look ok, but when it's grouped like this it makes total sense... and her daughter probably loves her own space.
Good idea! Lots of fun stuff to do.
That's wonderful! What a great way to use an awkward space!
What an incredible use of wasted space. Your daughter is one very lucky little girl. Everything seems water proof & weather proof (to a point). Cover the sand box when not in use. Critters can live there and droppings from birds would not be welcomed.
Nice! I think the mirror is perfect there. It makes the "room" look so much larger and more open!
what a great use of space! Would have loved something like this as a kid.
Awesome! Such a treat with different activities to get into. It also looks nice... its bright and not cluttered.
Forget "would have loved something like this as a kid"! I'd like something like this NOW. It's adorable and Olivia is a lucky girl.
It's perfect. I can't believe how you transformed such a small uninviting space into a warm and friendly play space! Bravo. Can I come play too (heeeheeeheee)!
This is so cute. We have a similar awkward space between the side of our house and our fence. Previous owners filled it with leaves, yard waste, and gutters. I had a vague idea of turning it into a play area for our girls, but while we recently cleared the area and put down mulch, I didn't have a clue what to do next. It's nice to see what someone else has done.
