If, like us, you've given up on the idea of getting a tree--the trouble, the
cost, the cat--but find that it doesn't feel quite like Christmas without one,
here's an idea that might inspire: last night E.
and I whipped up a 2D tree out of tissue paper, and we
decorated it with balls cut out of some old wallpaper we had around the house.
It's a bit more minimal than Dyker
Heights, but suits us just fine.
Happy holidays, everyone.
