While I love the convenience and sustainable aspect of tablets for reading, I'll admit there's nothing quite like flipping through the latest issue of my favorite design magazine when it arrives via snail mail. For those of us that still subscribe to paper magazines, here are some modern solutions for displaying the latest issues at home.
On the fence about whether to keep or toss? Check out this post.
Consider a crafty upcylce instead of your standard recycle for old magazines.

Not quite ready to part with certain magazines, but you're out of space? Consider investing in magazine file boxes.

I have the Urban one and love it. And it's only $40 bucks!
The only one that would make it over my threshold is #5. The remainder are just...trying too hard, design wise. 'Mundane' comes to mind. For the past year, I've been using a large repurposed gift basket I received last Christmas from a client. It's quite rustic which is not my style but I've enjoyed the contrast & texture it brings to the room. Hard to beat 'free'.
More recently I bought a vintage metal mag rack for the dh's home office at the CS for $5. It's exponentially more interesting than any of the above. When our living room transitions from winter to spring, these two will trade places for a season or two.
One thing to note about #5, it's kind of on the small side. I think I thought I'd put a lamp on it or something but honestly it's so tiny I haven't even done anything with it yet, it's just been sitting in the corner all neglected.
