On Sale: Shelving Options from the Container Store

The Container Store is one of those supply shops where they might not have the most cutting-edge solutions, but they're a good place to go for basics and they have a lot of good small-space options. Every year, they have a shelving sale - right now they're offering 25% off on freestanding, wall-mounted, and modular shelves. We rounded up a few solutions for a small apartment...

The Elfa system is a popular way to customize a closet or add wall-mounted shelving. Prices range from below $100 to several thousand dollars, depending on what you want. All Elfa shelving is currently 25% off. (Freestanding uprights can also be purchased if you don't want to drill into the wall.)

Ladoro Modular Shelving: Similar to the ever-popular Cubits, these translucent polypropylene shelves can be stacked in different interlocking configurations. This credenza arrangement is $260, marked down from $345.

Qubes by Umbra: This system uses steel dividers inside laminate cubes. The Wine Rack and CD/DVD Shelves are $75 (marked down from $100) and the Book Shelf is $60 (marked down from $80).

We see these acrylic wall-mounted shelves in a lot of bathrooms, although they also work in the kitchen (as a spice rack), bedroom (as a floating bedside table), or living room (as a small bookshelf). On sale for $10 and $11, marked down from $13 and $15.

Umbra's

used theirs in the bedroom. On sale for $10, marked down from $13.
