Something about packing up and setting out for a road trip just makes me feel so adventurous and free, it puts me in a good mood just thinking about it. And why am I thinking about it? Because I am headed on a road trip tomorrow!
My husband and I will be camping over the weekend. Although we are still quite happy camping with the tent setup we've established over the years, I have to ask myself if I am nearing the age where 'roughing it' might start to entail an airstream, RV or caravan.
As I sit here making my traveling to-do list I've gotten more than a little sidetracked with researching mobile traveling homes. So now that I've bookmarked a few dozens images that I'm just drooling over maybe I'm gonna have to rethink my future traveling adventures and find a way into one of these great places sooner than I thought.

I'm so there... I love being outdoors but am over sleeping on the ground! Each one of the trailers/caravans/RV's you've shown here are fabulous.. I have a secret fantasy to find an airstream and make it totally gorgeous! (sigh ) some day. Happy Camping.
Fun! Constance (picture 5) is especially charming.
Such freedom......and the views!
growing up, my parents had a westfalia camper van, pop-top and all. we have so many fun memories of camping, road tripping from beach to beach as a family.

We're on our third Airstream, having finally found the right size for our family (2 adults, 2 greyhounds). We'll be gutting it this fall, and hopefully by next summer we can live in it full time... hopping from one National Park to the next.
