On Trend: Geometric Color Blocking

This month we're all about color here on Ohdeedoh. One trend we've noticed in abundance is color blocking. You find it in clothing and jewelry this season, but it also extends to the home. Repetitive shapes in vivid hues abound, often set against a white backdrop.

The trend has is roots in Scandinavian design, and many contemporary toys and mobiles may credit Charles Eames' 1951 "Toy" as inspiration. And we love this trend. It's whimsical for adults, and plays slightly sophisticated but fun in a child's space. Nice to find something we can agree on!

Have you jumped on the geometric color bandwagon yet?
