Google "gold dipped wine glass" and you'll find tons of DIY projects out there, proving that this trend is still going strong. If you don't have time to do some yourself, or are afraid of inhaling metallic spray paint, you can always head to a store instead. These seven wine glasses each have a touch of gold and are a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season. Cheers!

The Williams Sonoma set is no longer available. Find it weird when AT provides links to items that aren't around anymore.
Lots of mid century modern silver fade, silver ombre, gold rimmed glasses available on Etsy which are more interesting, imo.
My mom has some platinum rimmed wine glasses from her wedding - she loves them (i love them!) but we've both heard that having metal where your mouth goes affects the taste of the wine. We're no connoisseurs but it's worth thinking about the placement of the metal :)
We have a set of eight, oft used, platinum rimmed glasses which were a wedding gift some 30+ years ago. They are as beautiful today as when they were received.

Uh, past trends don't just disappear from search results. THE INTERNET NEVAR FORGETS.
I prefer silver-rimmed items myself!
I can't get the pic at the link for 7 to show. Does it really look like someone's Lee Press-Ons fell in the drink? That's what it looks like to me here. But I love 5. It looks like it has a bit of humor to it's background. I always find gold dipped anything a bit ridiculous. :)
