One IKEA LATT Table, Three Hacks

You can't beat Ikea's LATT activity table. It's the kid equivalent of the Expedit and a staple for parents worldwide. It's always great to see how this simple furniture set gets customized from household to household. Click through to see three readers' takes on the staple.

1. Weiya found her LATT in IKEA's clearance section for fifteen bucks (score!) and hid any scuffs with a fresh coat of paint and fabric for the seats. The result is fresh and adorable. You can see just how she did it over at her blog

2. Ashley, of Design Build Love, combined chalkboard paint and metallic chevron stripes for an attractive and functional spin on the original. It was successfully auctioned off at a local charity event.

3. Emily Grady used vintage-style wrapping paper, applied with Mod Podge, to spiff up hers. After the maps were sealed with acrylic spray, it was ready for play.

Well done all of you- I think there are some very happy kids out there!
