One Lucky Baby: Blankets

Cute, not cutesy. One Lucky Baby manages to pull off the nearly impossible balance in products for kids.

Their patterns and palettes are fun and colorful without being garish. Also, they are not too mini-grownup (punk rock baby shirts, ick) but are sophisticated.

Utilizing poppy prints on one side and super soft plushes on the other, these baby blankets fulfill double baby requirements - cozy and washable. Prices vary depending on fabric, the blanket at left is $32. on Etsy.

A few more styles:

From the designer's bio: "I'm a stay at home mom who wanted smart, modern, hip and a bit of ridiculous things for my kids. I had trouble finding anything, so I took out my sewing machine, collection of fabrics and started to sew. Each item is handmade by me. Custom orders are gladly accepted including custom size blankets (crib, toddler, kid, adult), sets, and items out of your own fabrics."
