Great advice. I was just thinking about doing this to my entry door. Now just to choose a color...
What color is that?
Thanks, LISANHAM! To WRIGLEYHOGSTHEBED: It's Benjamin Moore's Kendall Charcoal.
Wonderful suggestion--deff gives character and it's an easy cover up when you move (assuming that you're a renter).. Thank you!
I just painted the inside of my door with black chalkboard paint. I bought a pack of multi-coloured chalk and now I have a great spot for writing my "to do" and grocery lists....plus it looks cute ; )
This is a beautiful colour, for the door and your bedroom.
Great idea.
Love it. Do you have to take the door off the hinges or anything?
Hi LADYLARA19, No, we didn't. We were just extra careful and since there ia a small gap there it was easy. Our door is original to the building and quite old and so the edges we're already a little rough, so we didn't have to be that precise.
Yum! Looks lovely.
I love that she's barefoot. Hooray for being comfortable in your own home!
I LOVVVVE this idea, I always give this advice and no one ever does it, but it's so smart and such a cool idea. Thanks for posting!
THANK YOU for this post. This is on "the list" but I was putting it off for a while because I thought it would take "forever."
Hearing a real person take this on and share that it doesn't take "forever" has given me the courage to take it on very soon!!!
Love this idea! I have lived in my boring white apartment for a year, and decided to spruce it up a bit by painting the front door! Thanks for the tip! It took less than a half hour to prep and paint! amazing!
