We've seen many a transformation of Ikea's staple Malm dresser. But there was something different about this one that Fine Little Day's Elisabeth Dunker did for her daughter.
She utilized what she calls "black adhesive vinyl film", carefully cut and expertly applied with much restraint. It echoes the clean Scandinavian muted palette we're seeing catch on here in the States. (Dunker hails from Sweden.)
And yes, in case you are wondering, that is a real cat and not a painting!

I think the Malm is ok as-is. Actually, they look fairly sharp in a plain way.

Why is that cat naked?
The cat isn't naked (or ugly) - he's a Devon Rex. They have amazing personalities and I think they are beautiful - high cheekbones, big ears and big eyes. I had a beautiful girl called Maya but she died over a year ago - HUGE personality for a such a small body.

To unwrinkle your cat, simply spray with water and allow to air dry.
I love ugly animals, the cat is amazing! The dresser: nice!
