We've seen many a transformation of Ikea's staple Malm dresser. But there was something different about this one that Fine Little Day's Elisabeth Dunker did for her daughter. She utilized what she calls "black adhesive vinyl film", carefully cut and expertly applied with much restraint. It echoes the clean Scandinavian muted palette we're seeing catch on here in the States. (Dunker hails from Sweden.)
And yes, in case you are wondering, that is a real cat and not a painting!
