We notice that in many homes, there are photos, mementos, invitations, and reminders posted on the refrigerator, a cork board next to the telephone, and stuck into mirror or picture frames. How about gathering all of it into one place, like this bulletin board?

This particular board is oversized, standing about as high as the pantry in which it's located. In a classic Colonial-style home, the board is an outlet for creativity and a little messiness. We love the fact that it's in the pantry where everyone in the household passes through but not completely out in the open. And as for what's on it: no holds are barred. From inspiring images to cute notes and birthday cards, the board is a place that's truly for everything.

That's the bulletin board in the background, in the pantry.

We could really use a surface like this in our home where we could consolidate all of those cluttersome tid-bits that we just can't throw away.

Do you have a bulletin board in your home? It it all utilitarian or does it hold some creative, inspiring ephemera alongside the more important stuff?
