Here's a fun little style experiment: Swedish real estate agency X3 had three different stylists — Michael Beckman, Hans Blomquist, and Tina Hellberg — each put their personal spin on the same two-bedroom apartment. On their site, you can see the photos of each successive redecoration side-by-side. It's fascinating to see how much each redesign changes the personality of the space.

Under Michael Beckman's direction, the apartment is bright white, enlivened by colorful patterned textiles and touches of gold. Hans Blomquist painted the walls a rich charcoal and embraced a moody, layered look. And Tina Hellberg created a minimalist, Scandinavian-modern feel, accented here and there with bits of texture.

The mood of the space is so different in each of the three iterations, it's almost hard to believe it's the same apartment. The three sets of photos provide some great eye candy — and also a powerful testament to the way decor can transform a room.
