Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: We added the flagstone floor, a painted bench to match the front door, a picket fence (my husband built on his own! we're still amazed he pulled it off), left over stones created the path to the arbor and I planted the spaces in between in a country cottage feel.

How did you create it? A lot of weekends digging, painting and lifting!

Recommended store, site, product or resource? I'm an avid book collector... I have many books on country gardens— especially French and English gardens.

This is so typically classic cottage charming. Your husband did a fantastic job on the picket fence. Did he build the arbor as well? It turned out great! You both put in a ton of effort and it really shows! Your home is a head turner for passer-bys...
