It's not often that you can find a shelving unit or console that can store your media gadgets just how you want to. Have you ever been so frustrated that you've thought of just building the perfect solution yourself, only to be totally intimidated by the idea?

Indie Furniture provides the clamps and you provide the shelving material. Through the company's online planning aide, you can virtually build your perfect printer and office supplies storage solution. The program will then calculate how much wood you'll need to complete your project and give you dimension specs to use when cutting your pieces. It'll also tell you how many clamps you'll need to put it all together.

You can choose to use any type of wood, say some weathered reclaimed lumber, but Indie Furniture recommends that what you use is no more than 3/4 inches thick. That size works best with their recyclable aluminum clamps. You basically become your own Ikea manufacturer. What would you build?
