What a cool idea! The only thing missing is a-r-t, in this room and throughout the house. The outdoor brick wall space is perfect for a wall mounted sculptural piece and the inside gallery white painted walls are begging for paintings to add warmth and personality. And to improve the feng shui, too.

I like this place - and although many of the furnishings are somewhat more simple than I'd prefer, the architecture and different building material textures are so interesting that I don't think this place needs alot of art or color.
Some outdoor curtain to soften the brick would be nice.
I agree art art its a perfect setting for some big pieces. How many dining areas does one need, they have three hope they are into cooking and dinner parties.

I really like this but I agree with Lori that having three dining areas is a bit excessive, unless you entertain all the time.
I love that outdoor space. I don't think three dining areas is excessive - we have three in our modest home - the dining room, outside on the deck, and at the island in the kitchen. Theirs is similar, except more stylish, and instead of a kitchen island, they have a kitchen table.
I couldn't tell where it was, but it looked very northern, and I'd guess that in summer, people there spend as much time outdoors as possible, to make up for the cold dark winters spent indoors.
I'm not sure what state this is in. In Florida, most of the year you would also need fans, a possible water feature and some sort of a screen. I love the idea though.
