I intend to put 2 Stokke cribs in the nursery - one (at toddler bed stage) for the 2.5yr old and the other (at bassinet conversion stage) for the newborn. Has anyone seen 2 Stokke sleepis in one room? So curious to see how it'll look...
Still looking for Sacramento-area parents for a feature on decorating kids rooms -- contact Liz Kellar at Sacramento Bee, my email is lkellar@sacbee.com. Help me please!
Liz, you might want to also post this to the Open Thread on http://sanfrancisco.apartmenttherapy.com/ - I am sure there are plenty of Sacramento readers there, and some of them must have kids! Good luck!
I know June is outdoor month, but are we the only apartment dwellers without a yard? Certainly we can't be. It just seems slightly odd to suggest backyard movie parties and line-drying clothes as *apartment* therapy. Then again, you do see fire escape clotheslines pretty often around here. Ah, the fresh scent of BQE! How are the yard-challenged dealing with summer?
lb - you certainly are not alone. Our survey last week revealed that it was an almost even split between those with outdoor space and those with none. http://nursery.apartmenttherapy.com/nursery/surveys/june-is-outdoor-home-month-024288 Your question is great and we'll try to blog more ideas for those without a yard. AT Readers - please send along any suggestions and tips!
