The new Opera mobile trailer and tent — named for its resemblance to the Sydney Opera House — is a combination tent/trailer/camper that tries to bring a luxurious edge to small sized mobile "holiday homes" ...
The design by Axel Enthoven will debut at the Belgian trade fair, Design at Work.
Inside, the design is composed with stainless steel, leather and solid wood elements — and it includes a wine cabinet, warm-air heating, espresso bar, an enclosed teak veranda, two electrically adjustable beds (that easily can become one), hot and cold water, ceramic toilet, and LED lighting.
The first, small batch of Operas (which will be handmade) will go into production in 2010.

Who is this aimed at? I suspect that the people who can afford this, are not interested in this sort of travel... (it looks fabulously expensive -- well in the league of 5 star hotels and resorts)
It needs a Good Sam Club sticker on it.
When I was a kid, we traveled all over with an old school Starcraft pop-up trailer. I love this re-invention.

My neighbors had one of those...
...it was very cool - and I agree that this is a much better version in that it brings the outdoors in -
- the biggest problem w/ all of these types of camping trailers is the severe lack of privacy while using the toilet.
I like! (How much is it?)
The biggest problem with all these types of camping trailers, bepsf, is that by using one at all you are missing the point.
An espresso bar? Wine cabinet? ELECTRONIC ADJUSTABLE BEDS?
Learn to build a fire, sleep under the stars and yes, poop behind a tree.
This looks wonderful-- but, as another commenter pointed out, it DOES look like a high-budget item for a low-budget pastime.
This was featured in a Belgian newspaper. It should sell for ±20,000€ or ±29,475.06$....
Teardrop, move over. Make way for Opera!
This is so amazing. I really like it.
