H.R.M. Queen Oprah has pledged 10 million of her own money to help the victims of Katrina. She has also started a way to help out the devastated with her Katrina Home Registry. People can go onto her website and purchase everything for the home the same way you might buy a place setting for a wedding.
We love Oprah and understand that she knows best(can you say Book club?), but to us this registry idea is kind of odd in a "helping victims can be fun!" sort of way. At the end of the day, if it helps restore people's lives, who are we to judge? (although in theory, we just did)
