Earlier this week we brought you a Red Roundup, now let’s see what orange has in store. Orange is a very inviting color; it’s friendly and warming, and it's a very popular choice in the Room for Color Contest.
Of course there are many shades of orange. The deeper the orange the more seasonal, so save those pumpkin colored linens for fall. And a brighter, more vivid orange is pleasing to the senses and can help stimulate the appetite. Think about citrus accents around the kitchen. Pale shades like peach, apricot, and coral are sophisticated colors. And who doesn't need a touch of class? How about the dining room or guest bedroom?
Next up for you cheerful home lovers, yellow!

I know someone is gonna come here and post that the orange room is overpowering - but I LOVE it!
And the Goldfish - Clever!
Orange is my favorite color. This is awesome, and I love that pillow! Too bad it isn't cheaper.
I like that first picture.
I have some orange in my barn studio and used this color to paint some trim, its not too bright but warm and looks great with woods.

i love orange.
I might as well do it - the first room is overpowering. I like orange as much as the next person, but that's too much.
i heart orange. it looks really great with walnut wood tones and that gray-blue "cadet blue" linens
