Admittedly, these photos look fantastic, in my opinion. However, I couldn't do this in my own space. While I tend to prefer neutral colors generally, with some "pops" of color here and there, I just couldn't adhere to such a strict two-tone color scheme, such as the ones in the photos. It would seem that anything purchased outside of that type of color scheme would simply look out of place in such a room.

Not only does this change my opinion about TJ but I want to run and buy a can of black paint now. Viva Mexico!

This is the discipline I wish I had. Working on it though!

I see a lot of black and white, and very little orange (one rug, one door, and one stripe on the bedspread). Since black and white are neutrals, you can pick any hue you like as an accent color and it will fit.

"Discipline" has nothing to do with this though -- notice the space is staged for photography with absolutely NO personal effects aside from the few carefully selected garments in the closet (no books, photos, plates of food, car keys, etc.). You'd be hard pressed to actually live this way unless you're a vampire! ;-)
