This room isn't alone with its pink and orange scheme. Apartment Therapy has looked at the color combination both here and here. But what about accenting it with...
...green? Is it the just the cool tone that's needed to temper this hot-blooded room? What do you think?

It's already in the wallpaper, so isn't it sort of perfect? I don't know if it would work if it were just the picture frames and the color wasn't found subtly throughout the room to begin with. Anyway, it's lovely.
Pink, Orange and Green - It's a Palm Beach classic color-combo.
I'm moving into that room now.
kthnx
very lilly pulitzer old school color combo. I remember the old original Bullocks Wilshire store ladies room was all about this combo.
Oh yeah, Bullocks Wilshire! The interior of that building went a long way toward inspiring me to be a designer. Which was inconvenient, since I was in the building to go to law school.
TVsJessica funny! I actually worked there part time in college when it was a store..I sold evening gowns and made good commissions, loved that store and the time I spent there.
Its a beautiful building I hope its still there!
It is still there, and much of the interior has been salvaged and restored, even though it's been converted into a law library, courtroom, classrooms, and offices. The tea room is intact, most of the clocks and light fixtures remain, as well as the lobby and elevator doors, restrooms and lounges, and many of the display cases on the first floor. The murals were also salvaged. I became completely obsessed with historic architecture, restoration and design when I was in school there. I wish I could have seen it when it was still a store!
love, love, LOVE it!
I write a blog all about pink and orange! Check it out:

It's very nice - not garish, as I would have assumed if you had just told me that you were putting these colors together without my actually seeing the result.
chartreuse goes well with hot pink as well, and that's not a cool color. it's all in the shades used.
Robin's egg blue for the first pic. The green works well in pic 2, esp. as it also appears in the wallpaper, as TVsjessica notes.
I think colors themselves don't clash, but different hues can. A neon green or something more of a pea soup color would be ugly there, but the minty green works fine. Can't say I love the overall effect (too heavy and fussy), but the tangerine curtains and pink pendant light are lovely and would look so good in a crisp, white room.
Where oh where can I find that rad pink pendant lamp?
Oh, I love that! I am having a fling with pink and orange, but I'm a cool colours gal, too many warm colours in a room make me tense and cranky. Maybe I'll play with those combos, though...
Agree with tvsjessica, it's in the wallpaper - besides, green goes with everything!
