AT:SF reader Lise forwarded an article she saw in today's Oregonian. Lise says: It's about two Nike designers who found the home they would purchase and got engaged on the same day...and then proceeded to remodel it and get married in less than six months. It looks like a beautiful home -- very modern with a mix of high and low end items.
Take a look at some more photos of the mid-70s split-level ranch below the jump:

Thanks, Lise!

I really, really like that tile
That is the exact dining table I want. What is it?
I'm pretty sure that tile is by Oceanside Glass for Ann Sacks. We considered it for a kitchen backsplash recently but our installer said it chips even more than other glass tile usually does. So we opted for another glass tile that was a little easier to install, beautiful (and cheaper) too.
I believe that table is from DWR.
tile looks like bisazza
Thanks, Charlene! Now I just need $1800 ┐(´ー`)┌
Funny how "within reach" means different things to different people...
love the chandelier...is it a Schonbek Matrix? wow..that things worth like 5K..but then, the house also has barca chairs, so i guess it was within reach. *drool*
oh, to have stairs.... sigh.
lovely...i thought the table was De la Espada at first glance...
that reno/furniture/property must've cost an incredible amount of scratch...
We have the same tile by Bisazza. Had it 2 years so far and no chips. We love it!
I love this place! We are in the process of doing a reno and I know what paint colors I am going to use now- barely there grays and off whites with ever-so-slight tints. Thanks AT!!!!
