For organic kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, or renovations, check out Organic Avenue on the Lower East Side. The shop also sells organic apparel, foods, and beauty products.
We're interested in checking out their home improvement products. They carry Silkroad bamboo flooring, non-toxic natural paints and sealants, and organic fabric, rope, twine, and yarn by-the-yard. It also looks like they carry a good selection of organic bed and bath linens.
We've not visited the shop yet but we're impressed with their breadth. Is anyone familiar with Organic Avenue, and if so, what has been your experience with them?

Does that mean you are volunteering to do it?
That would be great, thanks.
I've been there and I adore it. It's not cheap (but you can become a member for a reasonable fee and get 10% off stuff) but Denise the owner has impeccable taste and lots of integrity... she absolutely lives the lifestyle she expounds. It's worth checking out. Oh and a tip... when you go there please get a raw cacao maca shake for me. I'm in LA now and I miss them terribly.
