We stumbled across an alternative to Steph's Organic Cotton Sheets from Target: the same from CB2. Originally we thought these might, in fact, be the same sheets, but it seems there are some subtle differences.
Target's come with recycled paper packaging, are made in an "IMO certified facility," and are dyed with vegetable dyes in an range of soft colors. CB2's come in a reusable cotton bag, are SKAL certified, and come in any color you want, as long as it's natural.
As for price? Both are much, much less expensive than the luxury brand alternatives. Read on for the details...
You'll pay more at CB2, where a queen set costs about $90. (At the time of this writing, twin isn't available.) Target's are more affordable and are on sale, though the range of colors seems to be dwindling. A queen set is $50; if you're dressing a king bed, you're in luck, with more color options and a lower price: $45.
We've only seen the CB2 sheets online. If you have them: what do you think?
