So is this what we mean when we say a design has an organic feel to it? Maybe the real question is 'what in the world is a hyoutan'? A hyoutan is actually a kind of japanese cucumber......that apparently makes for a good set of iPod speakers. At first glance we immediately thought they looked a lot like the Scandyna speakers, but we were also reminded of the wooden salad bowl speakers we had seen before.

No idea how these might sound, but would definitely make for a cool casual listening corner hanging from the ceiling.
