I love that first photo (and the look of large tree branches in vases), but don't the branches die almost immediately? I could never bring myself to cut a lovely branch off a living tree just to put in my house for a week or so.
That lamp-tree is AWESOME!! I think I want to do that. :)
buy fake branches :) we did that with some fake pussy-willow and it looks really great. anyone know the source of that floor lamp in the first pic (the lanterny-looking one)?

Wasn't this called "earthy modern" just 5 years ago? Is this USDA certified organic modern or just made with organic ingredients modern?
I still prefer earthy modern though.
