Geninne shares the office with her two sons, who are home-schooled, and she herself is an artist, so the room is necessarily packed with supplies and tools, yet she's managed to avoid clutter and chaos. The furnishings are simple, and the color palette comes through mostly in the images Geninne has hung around the room as inspiration for her artwork. We love the muted blues, silvery grays, and olive greens... so springlike and refreshing!
Part of the organizational success of this room seems to be due to compartmentalization. Geninne has chosen her furniture and storage carefully, so that everything has a designated spot. A custom-made card-catalog-style unit is perfect for holding all the bits and baubles Geninne uses in her projects.

Gorgeous. I'm a big fan of Geninne's art.
I'd love one of these desks. What are they known as?
@selene -
If you're referring to the desk in the first photo, I'm pretty sure it's an Ikea glass top with two Ikea wooden sawhorses. I've used this set-up as a desk for years. Very convenient, and inexpensive!

totally awesome little studio. so colorful and cheerful and organized. love it!
What a great space to work! I love the sawhorse supports for the glass top - even more love for the extra storage the sawhorse allows! Thank you for sharing!
