In my never-ending search for new, modern ways of organizing all of the "things" we collect in our lives, I came across the W-Box: an innovative design that uses lamellar fir wood to assemble modular boxes in an elegant and sophisticated way.
Designed by Office for Design (be sure to check out their webpage intro animation), and featured on Flodeau, the design is capable of creating a one-of-a-kind look. The W-Box is a wooden box, painted with non-toxic, matte colors that are neither neutral nor overpowering.
They are stackable, buildable, and design-able. The units' vintage feel is established through color as well as a nod to mid-century furniture design.
I absolutely love them and wish I were in a position to buy a wall full, as represented in the photo. What do you think?

Cool idea, but not in that room!
I love it! I'm constantly on the search for new ways to store things and this would be PERFECT in the study. Great find! x
reminds me of the miss minimalist blog and one particularly resonant post from a few months ago... 'storage is not a solution'. and this setup above in particular, to me, still looks very cluttered. I'm working very hard to reduce the amount of *stuff* in my life this year and part of my method is to get rid of containers so i can see the junk i've been storing in them and be faced with the reality of not needing/wanting/using it.
i'm craving empty space over pretty packages!
Love the room, love the product especially together, this is a perfect collaboration of design.
Really like from the doorway down & the TV down. Everything above, no thanks.
In different shades of blue--yes.
If it was all one colour. It looks very cluttered and there's nothing in it.
Hideous as pictured!
setting and ghastly tired colours make it look like some mess that's been retired to the garage, in need of repairs. for 30 years
It's like an enormous artwork but what would you put in it and how would it look full of stuff? Prettier than practical.
Not a fan...looks like it is going to topple over. the colors are drab and it looks shabby. The room is incredible!
