Typically used to organize nuts and bolts, these small containers are perfect for the home, office or studio. With see-through storage drawers, bins and cubbies, you can be a bit more relaxed about labeling. Placed desktop or wall-mounted, these storage solutions are an easy way to retire the ol' junk drawer.
The cubby organizer in the first photo is attractive enough to display collections. You can even use it as an opportunity for seasonal decor like pinecones, leaves and skulls for Halloween, and shiny ornaments, ribbons and figurines for the Holidays.

I think something like these would be great for storing my mineral and seashell collection but I'm a little turned off by a lot of plastic and all wood drawers would hide my "treasures".
Organize your tchotchkes! Can't live with them, can't live without them (without great effort). I have to ask myself each time, how much does this little thingamabob actually mean to me? When I am settled, I'll have to take a series of photos of items I thought were necessary to claim as my own, then pass them on to someone whom they'll make smile as well.
I love the wooden one. We're trying to find a huge but affordable used apothecary drawer. I hate the plastic drawers; ours are unattractive and the drawers warp and break after less than a year.
I just bought two of these at a flea market and house sale. I intend to store all my "little hardware" items (picture hanging hooks, screws, thumbtacks, etc.) in them. Good thing I'm right on the trendy curve!
You can always find these at garage sales, estate sales, and flea markets. Don't pay a lot for them.
Old printers drawers hung on the wall make an adorable way to display small items as well
