Last month we slinked to a video tour of Lotta Jansdotter's Brooklyn studio. While we were engaged by her story of how she started her business, we couldn't help but notice the clever organizing systems in the background.

We love the clipboard collage against the brick wall as an alternative to file folders -- contents of all kinds and sizes held tightly by the clip, but clearly visible and spread out among multiple categories.

We wish we knew what the original function of this wire frame -- for it seems clearly repurposed -- that Lotta is using to hold multiple copies of her book Simple Sewing. We might not have our own books published like Lotta does, but we'd use our version to hold Apple photo albums.

We think the containers pictured above are ceramic plant pots, cleverly holding notecards and notepads on a roomy desk. Finally, we loved these little vignettes from her studio, unrelated to organizing:
