There's an ongoing debate in our house--DVD's on display or hidden behind closed doors. We are a fan of the latter and can't quite seem to get the rest of the house on board. We're hoping Christine's lovely before and after shots of her repurposed buffet as an entertainment center will do the trick...
Christine from kraken crafts shows us how organized a space looks without all the extra stuff looking back at you when you're hanging out in the living room. Because the entertainment center zone is typically a small area, DVD's and books tend to look cluttered because they are stacked on top of one another. You can apply this same organizing tip to bookshelves when the area looks overcrowded. Baskets work great to store odds and ends while keeping the area well edited.
