I am so inspired by artists who use accessible materials for their work. Jacqui Symons creates paper origami chandeliers and installations that transform the spaces in which they are placed. This would be a wonderful and low budget DIY solution to a tired chandelier in your home, especially if you use recycled paper that's had meaning in your life.
More about the artist:
Jacqui Symons is an artist and designer who works in printmaking, paper and design. Based at Woodend Mill in Mossley, she constantly takes inspiration from the surrounding countryside and nearby Peak District. This love of nature and the environment is apparent in her work, especially her printmaking in which she uses leaves to create intricate and detailed monoprints.
The idea that an origami chandelier could play with light and have an incredible look both when lit or on its own is really inspiring. I can't wait to try this out!

White Enamel Four-P...
Very pretty! I made a bunch of origami "balloons" out of pretty origami paper, and use them as covers for Christmas lights on our Christmas tree every year. They look so pretty lit up by the lights! When you take down the tree, you can just flatten the balloons out again and store them in a baggie.
