Which brings me to his main occupation these days: Christmas Ornaments made from Origami.
Here are a few tutorials we've been using lately:
• Creature Comforts has a tutorial for Box Ornaments.
• Sandy's Space shows us how to make a wreath.
• Origami Instructions has a really nice Dove post among others.
• Freshly Picked makes a light garland.
• Nikki in Stitches has a tutorial on Origami Stars.
• Abigail's Crafts How To brings us a post on how to make Kusudama (flower balls).
• Zakka Life gives us a twist on the classic crane origami by adding glitter.
• Poppytalk has a tutorial on making a geometric spinner ornament.

White Enamel Four-P...
it may not be traditional origami but if i may suggest moravian stars or paper german stars are beautiful. I made a bunch with shiny ribbon instead of paper strips (less cutting) and they look amazing. I found both of these tutorials helpful - it looks complicated, but once you get going you can make them in about 2 min each - pop in a good xmas movie and you will have more than you know what to do with.

I love Christmas paper crafts. This is a great roundup. Can't wait for the weekend when I can check them all out!
Oh wow, I've never thought about using ribbon! That makes tons of sense!
