The unseasonably warm weather we've been having in Los Angeles (save for the brief rain and hail we had Monday) has us completely tricked into thinking it's already spring. With the time change coming on March 11, it got me thinking about long evenings of grilling and lounging outside. Perfect time to make these cute little lanterns for keeping things well-lit. Even if you won't be entertaining outside in the next few weeks, these would be terrific indoors as well.

If it gives you pause to want to put a regular tea light (in a glass votive, of course) inside this little paper craft, then why not use the little LED tea lights that are so readily available these days? It also means you can leave them unattended without fretting.
