Did you watch the Oscars on Sunday? We made it through the first hour or so and as always, loved seeing the dresses, especially as a glimpse into the colors that are "of the moment".

Valspar's bloggers at Beehive Studios put together a fun post about finding inspiration in these now-famous dresses for interiors that is right on the money - they took four looks and matched it with a shot of a great looking room and topped it off with a few paint swatches.

Above, is Kathryn Bigelow, with her awards for best director and best picture, the inspiration room filled with the same strong neutral on a white background and two swatches, Lincoln White Sash and Gray Expose.
