While it seems that generally there isn't a middle ground when it comes to this specialized style of beds, we gathered a good number of different styles of canopy beds to accommodate both modernists and traditionalists. After considering a few of the featured beds, we are pretty sure there must be at least one in the bunch that may just convert any canopy naysayers.

• Herve Pierre's Gingham Plaid Bed: You have to really love gingham to feel at home in Herve's bedroom. I am not a plaid lover, but there is something about the way it is used that just works. I want to not like it, but I just can't help but find it glamorous and charming at the same time.
  
• Lyndsay and Fizhugh's Brooklyn Bedroom: Nothing about this bedroom necessarily says Brooklyn, instead I feel as if I am looking at one of the pages in Vogue Living Australia. The organic shape of the posts gives off a sophisticated and sexy vibe.

• Draping Fabric Canopy Bed: The featured bed is our absolute favorite romantic canopy bed. The richness and texture of the fabric creates a dream sleeping experience. How can you deny the brilliance of pulling off this bed in a raw loft space?
  
• Carolina Herrera Jr.'s Madrid Bedroom: Her bed was custom and made from iron. The height of the posts and canopy gives it a dramatic effect.
  
• PCH Canopy Bed by Mash Studios: Seeing the PCH bed at Mash Studios is where my love for canopy beds resurfaced. The simplicity of its structure with the addition of one fabric draped over the posts created instant envy.
  
• Graphic Bed at the Abitart Hotel: The bed is located in its Poetic theme suite. Canopy beds are even for the urban, ultra cool individualists. We are convinced that the yellowish-orange color paired with the writing on the bed is successful in breaking down the stereotype of a traditional canopy bed.
