This season's finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm had a story line where Larry David is accused of making ring stains on an antique wood table. After interrogating his friends (by asking if they "respect wood"), he uncovers the culprit (Cheryl, his ex-wife). yes, but it is so easy to find wonderful record covers and records that are ruined beyond use as a record or preservation.... and there are a lot of Go Gos records out there...

Legally, how can taking a copyrighted image, such as the Go-Go's Vacation album art, be then cut up and made into coasters and sold as someone else's "art"? I'm flummoxed! Usually AT and Etsy are very respectful of copyrights and of using original works/pieces of artwork.
DrTheopolis: because copy-right is about making copies. And they are not.
Great choices. I found some with a Scrabble board design that I'm dying over. Not as chic as these, but fun nonetheless!
