Working out everyday can be annoying in and of itself, so when you have faulty headphones — you might as well forget the whole thing. There's nothing more annoying than being focused in your cardio and earbuds continually falling out, or having to pick up your mp3 player to change the volume or song. We've done some research and found some of our favorite options from the archives.
• In-Ear Headphones That Will Stay In While You're Out Mentions the Shure SE115 Sound Isolating Earphones. They come in a variety of shapes, so you can pick the perfect one for you and your ears.

• Your Ears' Best Buddies: Earbuds The Klipsch Image S4i's are really great options when working out. They'll fit snuggly in your ear so you won't have to worry about annoying adjustment. They also come with volume control on the cord, so it makes it easier to maintain your music without getting too distracted.

• Re(al)view: NuForce NE-8 Earbuds Are another great options while working out. They wrap around the ear comfortably, so you won't have to worry about the bud falling out. They also seem somewhat noise canceling, so you won't be distracted by the disruptive sounds of the gym (or honking cars outside).
What kind of headphones/earbuds do you wear while working out?

I don't like sound isolating earbuds for working out. they're especially bad for running as they make me hear my own steps and breathing, and make it harder to hear outside noise (obviously) like cars or people coming up behind you.
previously, my favorites were the Sennheiser MX 75 (you'd have to get the 85's now), but recently i came across the Nike Vapor Sport Headphones and have been enjoying them. they can adjust to your ear, and fit snug, and haven't come off while running yet. plus they have a short cord so you don't have to tuck it in anywhere, but include an extension in case you need the extra length.
I agree that earbuds for working out don't do the trick for me. I like the wrap-around Sennheiser PMX80 In-Ear headphones.
I use the phillips wrap around for the iphone. I use to have the Bang & Olfsens but after having a few pairs separate at the jack I gave up on them. The phillips don't really have any adjustment but they don't fall out when I'm running or lifting.
I really liked my old Nike Vapor sports, but after a while the hinge came loose so they didn't stay on my ears very well. Other than that, they were great headphones and relatively inexpensive if I remember correctly.
I've been using Sennheiser MX75 as a replacement for the last few years and they're fine. The rubber is a little harder so after a long run or workout session they'll start to bother your ears (I'm talking hours, not minutes), but for normal workouts they're great. Only complaint I have with them is their cord came rolled up in the packaging and after 3-4 years of use it still rolls up! I wish the cord would straighten out. Never had that happen with any other pair of headphones.
I absolutely love my Adidas/Senneiser PDX 680.
As an avid runner, and heavy sweater living in Texas, my earbuds would become clogged with sweat after running for about 30minutes. This required me to remove them from my ears and bang them on my hands.
Not any longer! The pdx680 solved that issue and while doing so, gives me much better bass response. Now I can finally finish my long runs with the music I need. :)
Sorry I meant PMX 680, above.
