Of course the desk we most wanted for our own was the one we forgot to jot down (actually, we did jot it down, but our collection of notes is still en route from NYC). All we remember is this was a one-of-a-kind prototype in the 5 figures range.
We've already proclaimed our love for the Tools at Schools desk as our fav overall pick from this year's ICFF show. But there were plenty other desks that offered a bevy of storage solutions for small spaces inside compact form factors, with new designs and some revived from the past...

I love the unidentified #1 as well.
I have a hard time choosing desks because I love them all, started when I was three and refused to remove myself from the chalkboard top with storage underneath little beauty in the PX. My mom couldn't get me to understand that one was coming home with us but it was in box, apparantly I was gripping the desk with all my might while tears ran down my face.
Ecology:
Rather than a desk, try a handheld computer and a clipboard.
