Here's a shout out to our friends at Cookie Magazine, who've featured us this month in their new April issue and given Ohdeedoh a nice big bump. This is the first colorful print press that we've received at our fastest growing site (see the stats!) and boy does it feel good...
Starting on page 30, you will find a neat monthly article called Mother/Father of Invention, which highlights Ursula, myself (Maxwell) and Sara Kate living for a year and a half in our 265 s/f apartment. It highlights why we moved when we did - the "breaking point" - and, of course, how great Ursula is ;-) so that we could stay as long as we did.
It's just a short little bit of an article, but it also lists my pithy answers to perennial childrearing questions, the choices Sara Kate and I have made in putting together her nursery and provides a nice detailed list of a few of the elements we consider our "top picks."
And of course, it mentions the start of our new CONTEST and the release of the second AT book next month: Apartment Therapy Presents: Real Homes, Real People, Hundreds of Design Solutions.

Would be interesting to see something on the site about what sort (and how many) toys are developmentally appropriate. We don't have that many toys (compared to our friends), but it was easier to limit them when our first child was in Montessori, and had access to developmentally appropriate activities. Now at home with our second, I find it harder -- wish I were Montessori trained!
Most kid clutter is afterall, toys so it would be good to have a guide on how to keep them reasonable -- and what *is* reasonable - this site is pretty good about making the point that babies don't need as much stuff as you think -- (well, except for bumpers and such).
