I'd really love to see a comparison of homemade versus the top reviewed brands. For instance, a homemade dishwasher soap versus Method's. I use all homemade mostly for frugality but wouldn't be opposed to splurging if a brand outperformed my own creations.
It would be great if you could do a review of Rubio Monocoat. I used this product (the natural oil finish which actually hardens so that it isn't oily at all) to seal my butcher block countertops and it is fantastic. It can also be used on hardwood floors as a plant-based, VOC-free and completely non-toxic alternative to more toxic finishes such as polyurethane.
