We always sort through our clothing at this time of year. It's a perfect time, as we've generally just received some new clothing items for Christmas. We get rid of holey socks and old PJ's and sweaters. Making room for the new by donating old clothing prevents closet and dresser overflow.
There's nothing that irritates us more than an overstuffed drawer that has to be coerced open and shut. So doing away with the old to make room for new clothing does a lot to keep us feeling good about our home.
What do you purge or replace at the dawning of each new year? If you don't have a particular routine, is there something you're cleaning out this year? Let us know in the comments section below.
