An oldie, but goodie, homemade tin can candle holders are a fun way to dress up a table or backyard space. Drop a citronella votive into the can to help keep those pesky mosquitos away.

Erin Boyle created this tutorial for Pure Green Magazine. Her pictures are lovely, and the steps are simple to follow. I plan to make hanging lanterns this summer with some pretty twine.

What You Need

Materials
Scissors
Tape
Pen or pencil
Sheet of paper
Few nails of different sizes
Hammer
Tin can
