Has anyone ever sat on the Ikea chair? How is it? Seems like you'd slide right through the strings if you moved the wrong way.
I just bought two great outdoor folding chairs at Home Goods on clearance for $32. They are slightly similar to the Pottery Barn chairs above. They recline as well and I'm very happy with the purchase.
That said, I'm not taking them to the park anytime soon. Fold-up aluminum camp chairs are sooo much lighter and since they fold up small enough to fit into a canvas bag, soo much easier to transport. They are, of course, ugly in direct relation to their convenience.
i have the ikea chair and love it. it's very comfortable, although i use a small pillow to help me sit up and under my neck to make it more comfortable when lying all the way back.

the ikea chair is very comfortable - i tried it at store. But I thought it was a tad difficult to get out of given how far you're angled back.
I like the built-in drink holder feature of the Saratoga Sling Chair.
Ikea chair is super comfortable and surprisingly sturdy feeling. You do need a small pillow for under your neck though if you want to carry on a conversation instead of just lounge.
i have a really small patio and was struggling with chairs that werent too cumbersome. i found these online for a little over a hundred bucks and they're great. similar to the ikea chair without the scary falling-through-the-strings feeling.
